about

My Christmas single for 2012.
Dedicated to those who bloom in winter time...

lyrics

I know you're there beneath my feet,
as I shield myself from the summer heat.
Leaves begin to turn, winter's on its way.
I need you now, to take my blues away.

Snowdrops, sleeping underground till the snow stops
falling and we're all feeling on top,
waiting for the spring to bloom.
Christmas days will be done when you're with us,
but the happiness that you give us
will save us from the winter gloom.

I let your green shoots caress my toes.
A new year comes as the old one goes.
Then you open up, like fruits of the barren land.
Pure white faces brush my frozen hand.

Snowdrops, sleeping underground till the snow stops
falling and we're all feeling on top,
waiting for the spring to bloom.
Christmas days will be done when you're with us,
but the happiness that you give us
will save us from the winter gloom.

When spring is here and the end is near,
as you fade away there's no need to fear,
'cause, as I shield myself from the summer heat
I'll know you're there beneath my feet.
